This is what makes Eisenmann unique... every Eisenmann exhaust built for CA Automotive Technologies' customers is custom built to your individual preferences for tip design (see table of tip design options at top right), fit and sound level.
Due to the custom built nature of these exhausts, the average delivery time is 3 weeks and you will be quoted a "latest delivery" time when ordering; Eisenmann have never yet failed to deliver by this date, in most cases customers receive their order within 2 weeks.

**If your preferred tip design is not listed on the price list for your vehicle don't worry, chances are we can still make your exhaust with your preferred tips.

Eisenmann also offer quad exit exhausts (four exit pipes) for many makes of car for the ultimate sport look and sound, along with new rear valances in many cases to accomodate the extra pipes.

After listening and installing countless aftermarket exhausts in our own facility, we felt we had heard and seen enough of the good, bad and very cheezy. We recognized that most E46 M3 owners had very specific requirements to meet that they found in other exhausts out there. What you see here is the culmination is the best features of many of the exhaust systems found today, at an affordable price with the performance you come to expect from a Rogue Engineering product.

El Diablo Features
-The RE El Diablo is made to fit exactly like factory.
-Weighs only 26 lbs., 1/2 the weight of the factory muffler! (factory is 56 lbs.)
-100% T-304 stainless steel construction, including flanges, internals
-Fully mandrel bent tubing, no crimps or flattened areas
-Mill-finished pipes and muffler, mirror polished quad 80mm angle cut, staggered tips.
-Full TIG welded contruction, no lock seams or pinch welds.
-Rogue Engineering logo tastefully stamped in the body of the muffler

El Diablo Design
Much development was spent to optimize the El Diablo exhaust system. What makes El Diablo different is that it is a true "flow through" exhaust system. There are no design elements to slow down the exhaust gases when they speed up with higher RPMs. Part of the challenge of this design is optimizing tubing diameters to allow for adequate backpressure while preventing faster exhaust flow from being blocked or slowed. If you build a system with tubing diameters that are too larger, it results in an exhaust with poor street performance. Tubing diameters that are too small will restrict higher RPMs. The key is a balance, all while producing an exhaust that has a nice deep, mellow tone (a function of muffler size, perforated tubing size, and perforation size). With El Diablo, we have met all of our design requirements.

Why not full titanium?
While full titanium exhausts have their merits, we decided against a full titanium unit for a number of reasons. Here are some of the pros/cons of the full titanium systems we've seen.

We decided to produce our system in 100% full T-304 stainless steel because of its consistent strength characteristics, corrosion resistance, and wide range of materials (important for controlling sound and exhaust flow). At 26 lbs. for our production system, we have reached the weight of some full titanium systems costing twice as much but with the benefits of using stainless steel.

Whereas the factory section 2 " X - pipe" utlitizes two 60mm diameter tubes, with a "H" crossover and small resonator, the RE X-pipe maximizes gas velocity by merging the two smaller tubes into one larger 76mm tube before splitting back into two before the rear muffler. This efficient system allows for gas velocity to equalize from cylinders 1-3 and 4-6, before entering the muffler chamber. This exhaust merge improves sound as well as gas velocity.

As an added feature there is an external electronically controlled "by - pass" valve at the end of the X-pipe for total user controllable sound and flow characteristics. This valve allows the user to control the exhaust sound from stock (completely closed) to racebike loud (completely open) from within the vehicle cabin. The user has the option of any variable position (partially open), controlling the exhaust volume and flow. It takes less than 3 seconds to fully open to fully closed.

Rogue Engineering X-Pipe Section 2
The RE X-Pipe is made to fit exactly like factory. Features of RE X-pipe include:
• Weighs only 12 lbs. with included blockoff plate (factory is 22 lbs.)
• Electronic Valve Control (EVC) valve allows for user controlled exhaust sound levels with touch of a switch (designed to be mounted inside the cabin, with a discreet momentary switch)

Stepped design allows airflow to accelerate through the system in a controlled manner to allow torque to be enhanced significantly. The bore ranges from 45-60mm in size. On standard cars typical power gains are over 12bhp and torque increased by 20 lbs, on further modified cars with sports exhaust systems with race catalytic converters and racing cams the gains are even more dramatic.
